Oh wow. At least (and this is a very small at least) they have anchor links at the top so people can go directly to the content they want to read instead of scrolling through everything. I’d be interested to see what their click/open rate is on this newsletter…..

To be honest, although yes it is a VERY long newsletter, we’re not actually being shown any stats here. Subscriber’s might love this newsletter, maybe it’s what they signed up for particularly if the expectation was set.

What’s the frequency on this? Average Subscriber Lifetime? CTA Ratio? Unsubscribe Reasons? Who knows…

They should, however, be experimenting with Interest Modelling and Dynamic Content to ensure relevancy, which I think above all else, might just be lost in this blog style newsletter.

Perhaps they should limit it to 3 pieces of content. What’s with the repetitions of 3 throughout the newsletter? They use 3 (insert headline) 9 times – which is 3 x 3 (that’s one). Or are they trying to use the trick of mentioning something three times so that people remember it as a take away – that only works if you mention the main point three times. (that’s two) Finally perhaps if they are going for a newsletter of biblical proportions they’re working the number three standing for trinity as an obscure Da Vinci-esque code to their readers (that’s three).

Hope you find this comment as fun as I found writing it.
